Day Three (1-29-11):
Woke up at 5:30am to make the ferry that would take us over to Dublin, Ireland.  I didn’t sleep a wink so I was pretty exhausted and decided to take some melatonin, a natural sleeping pill, to knock me out on the ferry ride. I’m super bummed I didn’t get to see the sites but I needed some sleep if I wanted to play a good show.  I heard ADTR had to take the 2am ferry so they are probably just as messed up as we are.  poor fellas.  After a few days of heavy traveling we finally met up with our boys ADTR and their amazing TM Sal, a fellow Mexican whom we’ve known for years from San Diego. We all looked at each other and said “what are we doing in Dublin!?” haha! Our first show of the tour was at a club called The Academy and it was absolutely mental! We had no idea if we had any fans at all in Ireland, so we weren’t really sure what to expect but Dublin… if you’re reading this…we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for an amazing fucking time!!  Honestly it was one of the greatest times of my life hearing you all sing and go crazy for us.  After the show we signed some autographs and hung out at the club for a couple hours.  The venue turned into a crazy dance club after hours so we all did some dancin and met some new friends.  Apparently there was a fetish club on the bottom floor but you couldn’t get in unless you “dressed the part.”  denied.  Haha!  To top the night off I had my first authentic Irish Guinness beer. Then I had another. So awesome.
